I work 1:1 with adults who want to make changes — whether that’s reducing anxiety, building confidence, changing habits or moving on from experiences that still affect how they feel or respond.
You may already know what you want to change.
You may have tried to push through or manage things on your own — and yet something keeps getting in the way.
That’s often because part of you wants to change, while another part is still holding on to an older belief, memory or way of responding.
My role is to support you in making those changes and help you move forward.
You can come to see me for support with:
Whatever you’re facing, the focus is on helping you move forward — whether that means making changes or gaining clarity about what matters most to you.
I tailor each session around you, either online or in person.
In trance-based hypnotherapy, we work in a relaxed state using suggestion, visualisation and techniques such as reframing, regression or timeline work. This allows us to work with the parts of your mind where habits, beliefs and emotional responses are stored, so old beliefs and patterns that no longer serve you can be updated, making it easier to achieve the changes you want.
Advanced Conversational Hypnosis (ACH) creates change through structured conversation and language, without needing a formal trance. This can be helpful when exploring beliefs, reactions or ways of thinking that are getting in the way.
If there is a specific memory or emotional response that continues to affect you more than you’d like, IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Technique) can help reduce its intensity so it feels like something that happened, rather than something that is still happening.
Each session is shaped around what will be most helpful for you.
Alongside the deeper work, I may introduce practical tools to help you strengthen new responses in everyday life.
Hypnotherapy is very different from stage hypnosis. You remain aware and in control throughout the session, and you will never be asked to do or say anything you don’t want to. Most people experience it as a relaxed, focused state where it becomes easier to make positive changes.
For most issues, I work through a structured programme of sessions rather than one-off appointments.
A minimum of four sessions provides the time and space to understand the issue and create meaningful change. On average, many people find that four to six sessions are enough to address a specific issue, although everyone is different.
Sessions are usually spaced at least a week apart, allowing time for the work to settle between sessions and for you to notice progress.
Where appropriate, particularly with focused IEMT or conversational work, fewer sessions may be sufficient.
Before moving into wellbeing and therapeutic work, I spent more than 20 years working in professional environments managing teams and supporting people through change, pressure and performance demands.
Alongside my work as a hypnotherapist and IEMT practitioner, I am also a qualified Happiness Club Trainer, delivering practical resilience and emotional wellbeing programmes to individuals, organisations and schools.
This combination of professional experience and therapeutic training means I understand both the realities of everyday life and the challenges people face when trying to make change.
I work with clients in Maidstone, across Kent and online.
I am fully qualified and insured, registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), and hold an enhanced DBS check.
I also offer small group programmes (typically 3–6 people) focused on common challenges such as confidence, anxiety, habits or feeling stuck.
These groups provide an opportunity to experience hypnotherapy and practical support in a supportive setting, alongside others working toward similar goals.
They can be a helpful way to get started, build confidence and begin to make meaningful changes in a structured and supportive environment.
