Workplace Resilience & Wellbeing Workshops for Organisations
Workshops that help people understand pressure, take responsibility and use practical strategies to stay well at work — supporting teams to perform well even when demands are high.
I work with organisations and groups who want to support their workforce in a proactive and practical way — not just to look after their people, but to help teams stay focused, productive and able to cope well during periods of pressure and change. Not through theory or one-off motivation, but through simple tools and consistent habits that build resilience over time.
The Challenge
Organisations are managing high workloads, ongoing change and competing priorities, while still needing teams to perform well and deliver results. Even capable and experienced employees can begin to doubt themselves when expectations stay high and recovery time is limited. Many are also seeking greater balance and meaning in their lives.
Over time this can show up as:
- struggling to prioritise or stay on top of tasks
- procrastination or loss of motivation
- imposter syndrome (feeling like you’re not good enough despite being capable)
- communication challenges within teams
- reduced focus and decision-making under pressure
Left unaddressed, these challenges can affect productivity, communication, decision-making and team performance — placing additional pressure on managers, leaders and team members.
Resilience isn’t about pushing people harder. It’s about helping individuals understand how they respond under pressure and giving them practical ways to manage it more effectively.
When individuals are able to manage their own wellbeing, organisations are better able to maintain performance while meeting their duty of care for physical and mental health.
What I Deliver
I deliver interactive workshops ranging from one hour to half a day, either in person or online, in Maidstone, across Kent and throughout the UK.
Some sessions are delivered through my accreditation with the Happiness Club, where I am licensed to deliver specific resilience and emotional wellbeing programmes. Alongside this, I also design and deliver workshops through DH Wellbeing & Hypnotherapy.
Sessions are tailored to reflect your organisation’s culture, priorities and current challenges. They can be delivered as standalone sessions or integrated into a wider wellbeing strategy.
Workshop topics may include:
- Resilience
- Reducing stress and pressure
- Motivation and procrastination
- Goal setting
- Confidence and imposter syndrome
- Preventing burnout
- Mindful time management
My experience in the workplace
Before moving into wellbeing and therapeutic work, I spent over 20 years working within large corporate organisations including SmithKline Beecham and Accenture. During this time I managed large teams and services, supported recruitment and development, and contributed to organisational change initiatives.
Alongside my workshop delivery, I am a qualified Advanced Hypnotherapist, accredited IEMT practitioner and Happiness Club Trainer. This combination of corporate experience and therapeutic training allows me to deliver practical, grounded sessions that reflect the realities of working life.
The Impact
When people are able to manage their mental wellbeing effectively, they are more likely to feel confident, think clearly and handle pressure in a constructive way. This allows them to perform at their best — both individually and as part of a team.
The difference between someone who is struggling and someone who feels steady and capable can have a significant impact on how work gets done, how challenges are handled and how teams function day to day.
Organisations that support their people to look after their wellbeing are better placed to:
- support effective performance and productivity
- encourage confident decision-making
- strengthen communication within teams
- reduce disruption caused by stress and pressure
- build resilience during periods of increased demand
Alongside these practical benefits, there is a clear business case for investing in workplace wellbeing.
- Poor mental health costs UK employers around £51 billion each year through absence, presenteeism and staff turnover
- Stress, anxiety and depression account for over 22 million lost working days annually in the UK
Supporting people, to take care of their wellbeing helps organisations create conditions where individuals — and teams — can perform well and contribute positively.
